I got paid... for sharing a personal story on another creator's post, and every hour that comment gets 1-4 likes.
He probably noticed the amount of engagement his post was getting and saw that my comment was getting a lot of engagement, so today around 04:24 19 March 2024 he DM'd me saying how I inspired me and wanted to transfer me... for inspiring him, which was and still is one of the greatest moments I've felt because I inspired someone that inspired me (haha) weird I know.
But that's not even the funny thing.
The funny thing is that this same creator blocked me on X (Formerly known as Twitter) he did have a good reason behind that and no I did not hold a grudge, because I kinda understood where he was coming from, he probably receives DMs from people that wanna "use him" every day.
So what did I do, I accepted it and moved on, I made use of the information/value I got from him during the time that I followed him.
Still, read his email Newsletters, and Watched his YouTube Videos.
All from free and valuable Content by the way!
I cannot Name the Creator because I know that all of you will just end up fake engaging with his content just to get his attention or something along those lines.
Now I won't lie to you back in the days I just didn't feel like engaging with other creator's posts, because I was too lazy, and thought that it was pointless, but ow boy was I wrong.
Fast forward 2 months into My Content Creation journey I started doing the whole commenting thing, but on X and Linkedin.
I got more engagement on LinkedIn, than I did on X when I started commenting on other creator’s posts.
On LinkedIn 3/10 of those creators would reply to my comments and 4/10 would like my comment, and at first I used an AI commenter to write me those one would say I used ChatGPT, which was kinda true but I used Writesonis'c chrome extension called chatsonic, more about this one in the upcoming Newsletter.
I then moved on to another AI commenter which I will not name in this newsletter, but I will be speaking about in next week's newsletter.
A month ago I got a DM on Linkedin from a Woman who works for... and I guess she reached out because she noticed that the type of content I post on LinkedIn aligned with their software, this was late December.
I gave Connectgenie a try in early February and boy ow boy.
I went from 3/10 replies to 7/10 replies and 9/10 comment likes by creators, and because of it My follower count increased by 60% (40 plus followers)
Those same 30 creators that I engaged with for those 41 days got me a bit of recognition with them, and my post impressions went up.
What is Connectgenie?
ConnectGenie is a smart tool that helps you improve your networking on LinkedIn.
It assists you in writing better connection requests, comments, and personalized notes to make meaningful connections.
Now I stopped using Connectgenie, but I haven't stopped commenting on those 30 Creators posts nahh, overtime I just learned how to write, and articulate my thoughts, but I still recommend Connectgenie to anyone looking to network.
Now I still use Connectgenie, but not for comments, instead, I use it to write personalized Connection Requests to Creators for Networking and My leads, to get their attention.
One thing I love about Connectgenie's Connect note feature is that you can also generate a LinkedIn connection note from a creator's actual post and not just a bio.
Making the note much more offensive, because most people use the creator's bio to write those connection notes.
In next week's newsletter, I'll be sharing a few tricks on how you can make Connectgenie generate you non-robotic comments and a lot more.
For the time being, you can try it out on your own by clicking here, and as a thank you for getting this far and taking an interest in my story, you will be rewarded with limited but monthly premium access to Connectgenie.
A gift from me to you.
